Scrap Boutique Retreat

i had a great weekend at the Scrap Boutique Retreat at Noonaweena. Becky, Jen and myself made it there after a rather terrifying drive on a dark and stormy night, we kind of felt like we should have been in a horror movie rather than going away for a relaxing weekend. But we made it there in one piece thanks to Bec's awesome driving skills and had a fantastic weekend. We met some great people and best of all got lots of scrapping done! Here are some of my Lo's from the weekend. i will post the other's later they are at school for Chloe who is STAR of the Week!!!

Embellees

Some good friends of mine Lisa and Liz have started a little scrapping venture "Embellees".

Their aim is to teach techniques through workshops that give you fantastic money saving ideas and to create individual scrapbook pages, albums and OTP projects.

Workshop #1 - Let's Get Misting

4 July 2010

In this 4 hour 'hands-on' workshop you will create a beautiful 'fusion' album. This album is made up of a collection of 'freestyle' pages, all bound together just ready to showcase your favourite photos and document your memories.

You will get to use Glimmer Mist and learn lots of techniques we are able to pass on from our recent Mystified Workshop with the lovely Heidi Swapp and the 'pros' from Tattered Angels.

It will be a fast paced class, especially designed for the experienced 'scrapper' or 'papercrafter'.

Baby Girl Off to BIG School

a little late but never -the-less!

My baby girl Chloe started Kinder this year. She counted down the days from Christmas until the very last sleep before the first day of Kinder. She was soooo looking forward to beginning school seeing the excitement and joy on her face everyday was beautiful. Well the first day finally came and she was over the moon, couldn't wait to see her Buddy (who i actually taught in Kinder when i was pregnant with Chloe and again in Year 4, she is such a special girl) meet her new friends, her teachers and experience school life. Some pics of her on her first day of school.

Some scrapping!!!

Well i finally got around to making another post. i have been scrapping a little lately, definitely more than last year. i didn't get a chance to scrap very often towards the end of the year due to the chaos of the major house reno - thank goodness it's almost finished.

i scrapped a photo of macy that i've been wanting to do for ages but i didn't have the right paper for it - that is of course until my favourite company Sassafras came to the rescue with Monstrosity!!! perfect for my little monster.
